Visit our showrooms to see our selection of period marble fireplaces. We stock Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian with good examples of each period. Most marble surrounds for living rooms were typically white marble, with darker marble used for dining rooms, styles and sizes vary.

Larger marble fireplaces typically come in two parts, a marble surround, and a cast iron, brass, steel grate or insert. The style of the grate varied depending on period and style. Georgian fireplaces typically had raised dog grates, or hob grates. Victorian and Edwardian marble fireplaces more often featured tiled cast iron inserts, or arched inserts with no tiles, depending on the period or style.

Below are some of our marble fireplaces, with selected inserts. Please visit our showrooms to see our latest stock, to match with inserts of your choice. We can install all fireplaces, typically fitting with a slate hearth, which would traditionally be fitted flush to all types of flooring.
